CCHL 2021-22 Season Set to Start on September 23rd

OTTAWA – The Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL) 2021-22 pre-season play begins this Friday, September 3rd with the Smiths Falls Bears hosting the Renfrew Wolves starting at 7:30pm and the Nepean Raiders in Navan to face the Grads. The puck drops at 7:30pm.

The Brockville Braves first pre-season game is this Saturday, September 4th when they will be in Hawkesbury to play the Hawks. Game time there is 7:30pm.

They are the home team on Sunday, September 5th, but home will be the Cardinal Arena as the ice is not ready at the Memorial Centre. Their first game at the Memorial Centre is scheduled for Sunday, September 12th starting at 3:30pm.

The CCHL 2021-22 regular season begins on Thursday, September 23rd with the Carleton Place Canadians traveling to Cornwall to face the Colts.

The Braves first regular season game is set for Friday, September 24th when they will host the Ottawa Junior Sens at the Memorial Centre. The puck drops at 7:30pm.

Regular Season 

Entering its 61st season, the regular season will consist of 55-games as the twelve member teams face each opponent five times. The Annual Fall Showcase will take place at Bell Sensplex over Thanksgiving Weekend.

Playoff Season

The top eight teams will advance to the Bogart Cup Playoffs which open March 24/22 with the Bogart Cup Championship Series concluding May 4/22.

Eastern Canadian Championships | Fred Page Cup

The Bogart Cup Champion will represent the CCHL at the Fred Page Cup in Summerside, PEI which runs May 10-15, 2022.

National Championships | Centennial Cup

The winner of the Fred Page Cup will represent Eastern Canada at the Centennial Cup in Estevan, SK which runs May 20-29, 2022.
