Warrants, Impaired Driver, Breach Charges – Brockville Police Reports – October 4, 2021


Brockville – Police reports from the Brockville Police Service from October 1st and 2nd, 2021.

On the 1 st of October 2021 shortly after 5 pm police located a local 42-year-old male who was wanted for failing to appear in court in relation to a charge for impaired driving from July 2021.
He was released with a future court date.

On the 2nd of October, 2021 at approximately 2 am, police were called to a residence in the north end in relation to a possible domestic. While there a 21-year-old male was located hiding inside the residence. He was wanted as a result of a robbery in May 2021. He was arrested and held for a bail hearing. There have been no charges at this time in relation to the initial call for service.

Impaired Drive/RIDE check:
On the 1 st of October 2021 at approximately 10:30 pm Brockville Police were conducting a RIDE program in the area of King St and Courthouse Ave. A 57-year-old female was spoken to at the
RIDE program where a roadside device was utilized. She subsequently failed and was arrested for being over the legal limit, she provided samples registering more than double the limit. She
was released with a 7-day vehicle impound, a 90-day license suspension and a future court date.

Breach Charges:
On the 2nd of October, 2021 at 10 pm police on general patrol located a 43-year-old male who was out past his curfew and without his surety. He was arrested for the charge of breach of release order and breach of probation. A further search of the male revealed him to be in possession of a debit card and cheques that were not in his name. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
