Utter Threats & Warrant – Gananoque Police Reports – December 6th & 7th, 2021

Gananoque – Police reports from the Gananoque Police Service from December 6 & 7, 2021.

Uttering Threats/Unlawfully in Dwelling:

On December 6th, 2021, at approximately 22:35hrs, officers of the Gananoque Police Service entered into an investigation after receiving a complaint of an unwanted male attempting to gain entry into the complainant’s residence. While still on the phone with the police, the female caller indicated that the male had forcibly gained entry to the residence. A disturbance could be heard before the line was disconnected.

Police arrived to find that the caller was able to flee the residence to a nearby business. Officers located the male inside of the residence and placed him under arrest. It was determined that the parties were known to each other. A 27-year-old male from Kingston was charged with unlawfully in a dwelling and two counts of utter threats and is to appear in court at a later date.

Warrant:

On December 7th, 2021, at approximately 09:27hrs, officers of the Gananoque Police Service, while on patrol, observed a male known to have an existing arrest warrant for failing to attend for fingerprints.

The 32-year-old Gananoque male was arrested and returned to the station where his prints were obtained. He was charged with failing to attend for fingerprints and is to appear in court at a later date.
