September Update From The Brockville Museum

Happy September!

We continue to be open by appointment with time-ticketed entry. Book your visit online at www.brockvillemuseum.com/reservations

This month’s virtual Talk & Tea will explore Brockville’s Automotive History. Talk & Tea takes place on the second Thursday of the month at 2pm with a different topic each month focusing on Brockville’s social or industrial past. There is no charge for the virtual format, although donations are appreciated and pre-registration is required. Visit www.brockvillemuseum.com/publicprogram for more and to register.
This is your last month to take in two of our temporary exhibits. RH Lindsay: Outdoors, celebrating the works of the local artist, and 200 Years of Printing History, marking the 200th anniversary of Recorder & Times newspaper. Both exhibits close October 9.

Looking ahead to October, we have released a limited number of tickets of our Haunting Histories Guided Walk. Book early to avoid disappointment: www.brockvillemuseum.com/publicprograms

Don’t forget to stay tuned to our Facebook Page for our ongoing video series, Building Brockville, looking at the different architectural styles that can be seen in Brockville. New episodes released every Tuesday through the end of September.
Finally, know a teacher or educator? Our 2021/22 Educational Program brochure is now available! We’re offering a range of program options, from virtual field trips to rentable thematic education kits. Access the new brochure on our website: https://www.brockvillemuseum.com/schoolprograms and get in touch with us – we’d love to work with you!
