BROCKVILLE – Rotary Brockville has decided to give the public more time in between monthly raffles and has changed to bi-monthly draws.
The lottery process is the same with the exception of the starting and ending dates. For 2022, purchasing tickets at www.rotarybrockville5050.ca begins on Saturday, January 1 and runs till 6 p.m., on the last day of the second month, being February 28.
Alternately, the subsequent draw will start Tuesday, March 1, ending at 6 p.m., on Saturday, April 30.
This lottery is dependent on the funds raised from ticket sales, with 50 percent going to the winner and 50 percent to Rotary Brockville's many programs (educational Adventures Series – Technology) and Dictionaries for Life), events (Santa Claus Parade, Easter Egg Hunt and Old Meg), and projects (100th Anniversary recognition and medical beds for Sherwood Park Manor). Plus more projects are in the works for 2022.
