- Time: The swim will be divided into three stages of three kilometres each beginning at 8 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Each stage of the swim will take approximately an hour.
- Location: Centeen Park, 70 Water St E, Brockville.
- Details: Carlyle will begin her swim at the Centeen Park waterfront, swim to Blockhouse Island and then return back to the park. This loop will be completed three times at each stage of the swim for a total of nine kilometres. Donations to the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society will be accepted on site at the Society’s booth.
Please note that COVID-19 physical distancing protocols are in place for interviews.
Sweat for Pets kicked off on May 25 and inspires participants to get active while raising funds in support of vulnerable animals across Ontario. Participants can run, walk, ride, swim or create a unique challenge of their own. Choose a challenge that fits your fitness level and abilities. The swim marks the fourth of Carlyle’s fundraising challenge activities, with the finale planned for next week.
