Gananoque Festival of Lights Begins This Weekend

Gananoque – The Gananoque Festival of Lights begins this weekend and there are many fun activities taking place around the town for all to enjoy!
The Town of Gananoque, along with Community Partners, presents – “The 2021 Festival of Lights”  featuring a fun-filled schedule of events to take place over the month of December and wrapping up the first week in January.
Everything gets underway this weekend.
Friday, December 3, 2021:
  • The Town of Gananoque presents the Town Hall Tree Lighting at 6:30 PM  – Gather at the front of Town Hall Park, along the King Street sidewalk (within the barricaded parking spaces) to enjoy the grand tree-lighting of the large evergreen tree!
  • Candy Cane Lane Opening at 7:00 PM – Experience Gananoque like never before by enjoying a walk down Candy Cane Lane in Confederation/Sculpture Park. Take in the beauty of the season by enjoying a leisurely walk lit up with bright Christmas trees, candy canes, snowmen and more! There will be live music featuring Lost Channel, festive photo opportunities, free hot chocolate from the Pump House Creamery and more!
Saturday, December 4, 2021:
  • Before the Rush Show & Sale: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM – Enjoy a distinctive show at the Thousand Islands Playhouse, Firehall Theatre, offering an enchanting shopping experience in a relaxed atmosphere. Get to know the makers while finding the perfect piece of home décor, clothing, fabric, art, paintings or jewelry. https://www.1000islandsplayhouse.com/
  • The 1000 Islands Gananoque Chamber of Commerce presents the Gananoque Santa Claus Parade: 5:30 PM 🎅– Gather along King Street East to welcome Santa Claus and celebrate the season!
Sunday, December 5, 2021:
