OAA asked Ontario’s Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) to nominate a prominent building, past or present, in their riding for a chance to learn more about it.
Delta – The Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) celebrated World Architecture Day virtually on the first Monday of October this year with Queen’s Park Picks.
The OAA invited MPPs to nominate a favourite building within their riding. Delta’s Old Stone Mill, nominated by Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes MPP Steve Clark, is one of the nine buildings selected to be showcased.
“An exceptional example of Georgian industrial architecture, Old Stone Mill has played an important role in Delta’s history—first as a catalyst for its development and now as a guardian of its history.” OAA
