Criminal Harassment Charges For Gananoque Man

Gananoque – The Gananoque Police arrested a 52-year-old Gananoque man on November 16th who was held in custody while an investigation into Criminal Harassment was completed.

Investigation revealed that the male had been following members of the Gananoque Police Service and of the Fire Service and interfering while those members were conducting their lawful duties and approaching them while they were off duty as well. It was also determined that the male was also interfering with Leeds EMS while paramedics were tending to patients.

Police were also able to determine that there was domestic criminal harassment occurring as well. As a result, the male was charged with four counts of criminal harassment, two counts of assault police and two counts of resisting arrest. The male will be in court today for his Bail Hearing.
