Brockville – Police reports from the Brockville Police Service from June 29th & 30th, 2021.

Theft

On June 29, 2021 at approximately 12:30pm, the Brockville Police Service received a complaint about a suspicious male going onto the property of multiple residences in the area of Schofield Ave. in Brockville. It was believed the suspect was attempting to steal Amazon packages. Officers quickly responded to the area and located a 40 year old male from Kingston matching the description.

He was found in possession of two stolen Amazon packages from residences in the area. The male was arrested for two counts of theft under $5,000 and multiple outstanding arrest warrants held by Kingston Police Service.

He was charged with the thefts, issued a court date and turned over to Kingston Police in relation to their arrest warrants.

Breach of Conditional Sentence Order

On June 29, 2021 at approximately 1:30p.m., the Brockville Police Service observed a 36 year old, local male, who had an arrest warrant for breaching his conditional sentence order. The male evaded police by attempting to flee on foot through a residential area near Schofield Ave. and Strowger Blvd. Shortly after he was arrested without any further struggle and no one was injured.

He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Threats and Mischief

On June 29, 2021 at approximately 1:40p.m., the Brockville Police Service received a call of a disturbance where a male suspect had made threats and was attempting to damaging property on King St. W. and Perth St. in Brockville. Officers quickly responded and located a 32 year old, local male, in the act of causing damage to a business on Perth St. He was arrested and taken into custody after resisting the arrest. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Further investigation revealed that he had caused issues at a business on King St. W. where he uttered death threats to staff. He then left and was described as kicking multiple vehicles parked on King St. W. as he made his way to Perth St. He was charged with two counts of uttering threats and causing a disturbance. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Breach Probation

On June 30, 2021 at approximately 2:00a.m., the Brockville Police Service received a call regarding a 30 year old, local male, breaching his Probation conditions. This male is known to be on conditions to abstain from attending to a residence in the Center area of Brockville.

Officers located the male at the front of the residence in question where he was arrested for breaching his probation. He was later released with a court date.
