Brockville – The Brockville Boomerang Club held their 3rd annual tournament on Saturday, September 18th at the Dana Street Park in the city’s north end.

Canada’s only boomerang club saw it’s largest tournament so far, taking 5 hours to complete.

The participants heard from US Champ and American Ninja Warrior Logan Broadbent for the second year in a row. He offered some words of encouragement and promised to come to Brockville to throw with the club. He was suppose to come last year, but due to COVID, could not make it. Organizers also stated that Logan was the inspiration for the Brockville Club.

On Saturday, 12 Novice throwers competed in several events including, Accuracy, Endurance, Fast Catch and Pick 3. As well two Advanced throwers did those events plus Trick Catch, which is one handed, behind the back etc.

All throwers went home with medals/trophies and a new boomerang from the prize table.
