Maxville – On March 3, 2017, the Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers (SVCS) program held its 3rd Annual Emergency Services Hockey Tournament in Maxville, Ontario. A total of eight (8) team’s (over 110 players) participated in the event.
This year the following Emergency services provided teams: SD&G OPP, Cornwall Fire, Cornwall Police, Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service, SD&G Paramedics, North Glengarry Fire, South Stormont Fire and Regional Task Force (RCMP).
The day was filled with a lot of laughs and some great hockey. The Scotia Bank -Maxville branch and Allstate matched a portion of funds raised. Representatives were on hand to assist with the day.
The event raised at total of $12,440 for the Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers Program.
