Nepean – The Kemptville 73s lost a 6-3 decision to the Nepean Raiders on Wednesday night in Central Canada Hockey League Tier 1 action at the Nepean Sportsplex.

Nepean had 3 goals in the first period by Olivier Gauthier, Noah Rowe and Ryan Horvath. Kemptville scored 2 in the peroid on goals by Ben MacDonald and Joel Frazee. The Raiders would lead 3-2 at the end of the first.

In the second, Nepean’s Antoine Belisle with assists by Olivier Gauthier and Graham Denomme would make it 4-2. Then at 19:49 in the period, Kemptville’s Matthew Titus would score one for the 73’s and it would be the last one of the game for Kemptville.

Nepean would go on in the third to pick up two more with goals by Olivier Gauthier and James Buckley.

The Kemptville 73s are now at (9-29-0-1).

They hit the ice once again this Friday at the North Grenville Municipal Centre when they host the Ottawa Jr. Senators at 7:30pm.
