Braves Lose Last 2 Games of the Season Friday & Saturday

Brockville – The Brockville Braves lost both of their home and home games on Friday & Saturday, the last two of the regular season in Central Canada Hockey League action at the Memorial Centre.

The Braves lose 5-4 in Shootout to the Hawkesbury Hawks on Friday Night.

Brockville, who fell to 36-15-3-7, had goals from Konnor MacCormick, Parker Casey, Josh Spratt, and Justin McRae.  The Braves finish in second place in the Robinson Division.

Jeremy Quesnel, Sean Clarke, Cole Leal, and Luke Grainger scored in regulation, Felix Sauve scored the shootout winner, while Mathieu Chenier made 47-saves as Hawkesbury improved their season record to 36-23-2-0.

Then on Saturday the Braves hosted Smiths Falls losing 5-3 to the Bears.

Austin Paul, Ryan Gillespie and Joshua Barnes scored the 3 goals for Brockville. The Braves finish the regular season with a record of 36-16-3-7.

Bruce Coltart (2), Ryan Richardson (2), and Cameron McLean found the back of the net, while Victor Desjardins made 20-saves in relief as Smiths Falls finishes with a 33-24-3-2 record. The Bears finish up in third place in the division.
