Braves Lose 3-1 to Carleton Place Sunday in CCHL

Carleton Place – The Brockville Braves lost to the Carleton Place Canadians 3-1 on Sunday afternoon in Central Canada Hockey League action in Carleton Place.

Jake Code (2), and Brett Thorne found the back of the net, while Devon Levi made 18-saves as Carleton Place improved to 48-7-4-2 on the season.

Will Torriani with assists by Joshua Barnes and Simon Kerr scored the lone goal for the Braves. Brockville saw their record fall to 36-15-3-6 on the year.

The Canadians out-shot the Braves 36 to 18 during the game.

The Braves will host the Hawkesbury Hawks this Friday night starting at 7:30pm. Carleton Place travels to Navan Friday night to face the Grads. The puck drops at 7:30pm.
