Justin Evenson stopped 23 of 24 shots en route to the win for Brockville (15-11-1), but the real story was at the other end of the rink, where Colts (12-11-3) netminder Michael Carr stopped 45 of 47 shots to earn his team a road point.
Phil Gilmour and Konnor MacCormick had the regulation goals for the Braves and Colts respectively; Jesse Winchester’s Brockville team now sits alone in third place in the CCHL standings.
