Brockville – The Brockville Braves won 5-4 after a shoot-out over the Carleton Place Canadians in Central Canada Hockey League Tier 1 action on Friday night at the Memorial Centre.

Philippe Gilmour got the game winning goal in the shoot-out for Brockville.

Tyson Kirby picked up Brockvile’s first goal at 3:16 in the first period. The Canadian’s Justin Cmunt tied it up at one a piece at 16:27 in the first.

Carleton Place would go on in the second to score 2 more on goals by Zachary Tupker and Travis Broughman to take the lead at 3-1. Braves Mike McArthur would get an unassisted goal later in the period to make it 3-2.

Zac McMahon would tie it all up at 3-3 after his goal at 1116 in the third period.

The game would go to over-time with no scoring.
