Bears lose 6-4 Decision to Carleton Place Friday Night

Smiths Falls – The Smiths Falls Bears lost 6-4 to the Carleton Place Canadians in Central Canada Hockey League action Friday night in Smiths Falls.

Smiths Falls, who saw their record drop to 30-23-3-2, had goals from Tate Leeson (2), Cameron McLean, and Ryan Richardson, while Victor Desjardins made 34-saves in the losing effort.

Andrej Hromic (2), Ben Brunette, David Gagnon, Brett Thorne, and Ryland Mosley all found the back of the net, while Addison Lawrence made 15-saves as Carleton Place improved to a CCHL best 47-7-4-2, reaching 100 points on the season.

The Bears were out-shot 40 to 25 by the Canadians.

Smiths Falls hosts the Pembroke Lumber Kings on Friday night. The puck drops at 7:30pm.
