Domestic dispute leads to several charges

On the 9th of March, 2018 police responded to a disturbance call in the Parkland court area and arrested a 22-year-old male who fled the scene from a domestic dispute but was apprehended by police shortly after. The male was charged with possession of a prohibited device, uttering threats to cause bodily harm and 6 counts of breach of his probation. As a result of these offenses, the accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Youth assaults mom in residence

On the 9th of March 2018, Police arrested a 16-year-old male youth after being called to a home in the Parkland court area. The youth was out of control- damaging property and assaulted his
mother prior to police arrival. He was arrested by police for assault and mischief and held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Male exposes himself to a female employee

On the 7th of March 2018, police commenced an investigation after receiving a complaint of a male committing an indecent act inside a local business towards a female employee. Charged
with indecent act is 22-year-old Ryan DAROU of Lanark. He will appear in court at a later date.

Accident results in impaired charges

On the 10th of March 2018 police were called to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Abbott and Lombard St. Investigation revealed that one of the drivers was impaired by alcohol.

Charged with impaired driving and over 80mgs is 46-year-old Blair Bradley of Pakenham.

The allegations of the above-mentioned offenses have not been proven in court.
