Female arrested for outstanding warrants
On Thursday February 1, 2018, at approximately 8:42 a.m. a 32 year old female suspect turned herself into the Smiths Falls Police Service for outstanding warrants for her arrest. The warrants had been issued for a shoplifting related incident, breach of her probation order and failing to attend court.
The suspect was placed under arrest and held for a bail hearing to answer to these charges.
Male arrested for outstanding warrant
On Thursday February 1, 2018, at approximately 7:38 p.m. police investigated a domestic assault. It was found that a 27 year old male involved, had a warrant out for his arrest held by the Cornwall Police Service.
The suspect was placed under arrest on strength of the warrant and he was later turned over to the Cornwall Police Service.
Female arrested for breaching her probation order
On Friday February 2, 2018, at approximately 12:31 a.m., police were called to attend a residence on William Street East, Smiths Falls for a report of an intoxicated female. Police attended the residence and located an intoxicated, 31 year old female suspect of Smiths Falls inside. A check of the suspect revealed that she was on a probation order with a no alcohol condition.
The suspect was arrested and later released by police when sober, by way of a promise to appear in court.
