SD&G – SD&G OPP Reports for March 25, 2019.
MULTIPLE THEFTS – STOLEN LAWN TRACTORS AND TRAILERS
SOUTH DUNDAS – On March 23, 2019 at approximately 7:37am, Stormont Dundas &Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of two lawn tractors being taken from a business on County Road 2, South Dundas Township.
Investigation indicated that sometime overnight (between 12:00am-2:00am) unknown individuals attended a business and removed a 2019 Husqvarna orange lawn tractor. Shortly thereafter another theft occurred at the same business where a 2018 Yardworks lawn tractor and 2 Utility Trailers(2019 Stirling 60-084- silver and black 2018 Prairie view 61-10) were removed. Further investigation revealed 6 bicycles were removed as well.
A black Ford 150 pick-up truck with blue ripped tarp on back rack was captured on video with two individuals (male and female). An investigation continues.
ASSAULT – DOMESTIC
NORTH GLENGARRY – On March 23, 2019 at approximately 2:28pm, Stormont Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of domestic situation in North Glengarry Township. Investigation revealed that an adult male had assaulted his wife and caused damage to property within the home.
An 83-year-old male of North Glengarry, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on April 16, 2019.
WANTED MALE ARRESTED
NORTH DUNDAS – On March 25, 2019 at approximately 8:25am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers and members of Community Street Crime Unit located the accused as he was wanted by the SD&G OPP. Investigation also indicated that the male was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
Anthony LEVERE (33) of North Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Fail to Comply with Undertaking
– Fail to Comply with conditions of a probation order ( 5 counts)
– Break and enter
– Fail to Appear
He was held in custody pending a court appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
