SD&G – SD&G OPP News for September 12th, 2017.
South Stormont – On September 11, 2017 at approximately 5:18pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a Motorcycle from a Business on Manning Road, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that sometime (September 11, 2017 – 2:30pm-5:00pm) a 2013 Green and Black Kawasaki Ninja Special Edition(Ontario Plate : 5H1Y3) with an aftermarket exhaust installed on the motorcycle, company ” Musarri” was removed from the property. An unknown male was seen pushing the motorcycle north on County Road 12, South Stormont Township.
An investigation continues.
South Dundas – On September 11, 2017, SD&G Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed measuring enforcement on Highway 401, South Dundas Township and intercepted the following vehicle for travelling at excessive speeds. The vehicle was impounded and the drivers’ permits seized for seven (7) days in accordance with policy.
– September 11, 2017 – 1:38pm (South Dundas): vehicle stopped travelling 157km/h (100km/h zone). Male driver (42) from Toronto, Ontario was charged accordingly.
