Police Forces Team Up for Drug Arrest

KINGSTON – On Tuesday August 1, members of the Kingston Police Street Crime Unit with the assistance of the Gananoque Police Service, arrested a male and a female on Notchhill Rd. The search incident to arrest ‎garnered a quantity of crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, hydromorph pills, oxycocet pills and more than $1700 CDN. On Aug 2, a CDSA search warrant was executed at a residence on Notchhill Rd where a quantity of crystal meth, packaging materials, weigh scales, 3 bullet proof vests, and 3 cell phones were seized.

Seized items:

953.9 grams of crystal methamphetamine

10 hydromorphone capsules

1.5 oxycocet pills

.40 grams of cocaine

3 bullet proof vests
A 32-year old local man is charged with 4 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime and 3 counts of breach of probation.

A 23-year old Gananoque woman is charged with 4 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and fail to comply with undertaking.
