LEEDS –   Members of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating more stunt drivers on Leeds County Highways.

On the 11th of June 2017, at about 7:45 PM, Ontario Provincial Police officers in Rideau Lakes Township stopped a speeding Ford van travelling westbound on Highway 15. Speeds were in excess of 51 kilometres over the speed limit. As a result of the investigation, a 52 year old Ottawa driver found her vehicle towed, and impounded for 7 days.

On the 12th of June 2017, at about 12:00 AM, Ontario Provincial Police officers in Rideau Lakes Township stopped a speeding Hyundai travelling on Highway 15. Speeds were in excess of 53 kilometres over the speed limit. As a result of the investigation, a 37 year old Kingston driver found his vehicle towed, and impounded for 7 days.

All are scheduled to appear at Brockville Provincial Offences Court at a later date to answer to their charges.
