LEEDS – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a stunt driver on Highway 401.
On the 16th of January 2017, just before midnight, Ontario Provincial Police officers in Front of Yonge Township stopped a speeding Hyundai car travelling eastbound on Highway 401. Speeds were in excess of 64 kilometres over the speed limit. As a result of the investigation, a 22 year old Ottawa driver found his vehicle towed, and impounded for 7 days.
He is scheduled to appear at Brockville Provincial Offences Court at a later date to answer to the stunt driving charge.
