HAWKESBURY – The Hawkesbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the assistance from the public in locating a missing elderly male. On Tuesday, July 15, 2017, at approximately 3:34 p.m., 78 year old, Gary FOSTER, left his residence walking on Concession 9 in Alfred-Plantagenet Township, was picked up by a passing and dropped off in the Village of Curran. On this same date, at approximately 4:30 p.m. Mr. FOSTER was last seen walking westbound on County Road 2, approximately 2 kilometeres west of Curran.
On August 16, 2017, detachment officers and OPP Emergency Response Team members commenced a search of the last location Mr. FOSTER was seen. On August 17, 2017, the search continues with the assistance of OPP Aviation Services.
Gary FOSTER is described as being 5 “9”, approximately 200-225 lbs and was wearing a red Massey Ferguson ball cap, tank top and red shorts with an orange pinstripe on both sides, black socks and no shoes.
