LEEDS –   Members of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped another stunt driver in Leeds County.

On March 18, 2019 at about 5:50 p.m. Ontario Provincial Police officers in Leeds and the Thousand Islands Township stopped an eastbound car on Highway 401 driving 97 kilometres over the speed limit. The driver was stopped after he passed a stationary police vehicle and justified his speed to being late for picking up his friend in Quebec.

As a result of the investigation, a 23 year old Niagara Falls man found his car towed and impounded for 7 days.

He is scheduled to appear at Brockville Provincial Offences Court to answer to a stunt driving charge.
