OPP Investigate 2 Prescott Break and Enters

PRESCOTT – On March 1, 2018 officers of the Prescott Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 2 break and enters, not in progress, on County Road 15, in Augusta Township. Both of these break in’s occurred sometime in the afternoon of March 1, when the homeowners were not present. The suspect(s) entered unlocked sheds, garages and 1 unlocked residence. Numerous tools, including a small compressor, IPhone, computers and sports cards were stolen from these locations.

Additionally, on March 1, a resident of Cardinal returned home from vacation to find their William street home had been broken into. Items stolen include a personal computer, T.V. and cash.

On March 3, 2018 a Park street apartment, in the town of Prescott had been broken into, sometime during the daytime. The suspect(s) broke a window to gain entry and stole a laptop computer. The OPP Forensic Identification Unit attended this location and collected evidence.
