OPP Apprehend Speeding Suspended and Uninsured Drivers

LEEDS –  Members of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing investigations into suspended drivers who continue to drive.

On the 17th of MARCH 2017 at about 4:40 P.M. Ontario Provincial Police officers, in Leeds and the Thousand Island Township stopped a speeding vehicle near Lyndhurst and found the 24 year old Leeds and the Thousand Islands man was driving without insurance. He has a scheduled court appearance at Brockville Provincial Offences court on the 29th of March 2017 to answer to his charge.

On the 17th of March 2017 at about 6:30 P.M. Ontario Provincial Police officers, in Rideau Lakes Township stopped a vehicle for speeding on Highway 15 and found the 28 year old Kingston man to be a suspended driver. He has a scheduled court appearance at Brockville Provincial Offences court on the 26th of April 2017 to answer to his charge. He was further charged with the speeding offence and driving without a currently validated permit.
