Investigators Appeal to Possible Victims or Investors
KINGSTON – Earlier this year, the Kingston Police (KP) commenced an investigation that was focused on a Kingston based investment business known as Next Level Investments. As the investigation proceeded, a series of Criminal Code Search Warrants were executed and at present, there have been five persons arrested and charged with fraud related offences. These matters are currently protected by a court imposed publication ban.
As a result of the ongoing and expanding parameters of the investigation, and in accordance with the Province’s Major Case Management (MCM) Protocol, this investigation is continuing under the direction of Detective Inspector Dave Robinson of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
The investigative team, which includes detectives from both the Kingston Police and the OPP, are now in a position to hear from anyone who may believe that they are a victim of this company or may have invested with them and either received or were promised a return for their investment. The attached secure link will provide direction of how to report and provide your information to police.
As this joint investigation continues, additional information will only be provided as it becomes available and in accordance with the provisions of the publication ban.
