LEEDS – Leeds County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) welcomes Staff Sergeant Joshua Kingsley as the new Operations Manager.
Kingsley has been an officer with the OPP since 2009, starting as a front line constable in James Bay Detachment of the OPP. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2014 and then transferred to Leeds County Detachment. He gained the rank of Staff Sergeant with the OPP in January of 2018.
Since March of 2017 Kingsley has assumed the position as operations manager on an interim basis.
“A welcome addition to Leeds OPP, Staff Sergeant Kingsley’s continued leadership will be valued by the communities the OPP proudly serves,” says Inspector Mike Francis.
Staff Sergeant Kingsley said, “I look forward to working with some of the best police officers, civilians and volunteers in law enforcement. I am extremely proud of their commitment to servingthe communities in Leeds County”,
