LEEDS OPP ARREST IMPAIRED DRIVER

LEEDS – Members of the Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an impaired driver after receiving information from the public.

On December 2, 2019 just after 9:45 p.m. OPP officers of the Thousand Islands office received reports of a driver operating a vehicle while impaired. The vehicle was located and stopped on Main Street in Seeley’s Bay. A 62 year old Leeds & 1000 Islands Township man was arrested and charged with impaired driving and driving with more than 80 mg of alcohol in his blood.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on December 20, 2019 to answer to the charges.
