Lansdowne Man Charged After Traffic Stop

LEEDS – Officers of the Leeds and the Thousand Islands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a male after a traffic offence.

On February 28, 2018 at about 3:00 A.M O.P.P officers while conducting traffic enforcement on Highway 401 in Leeds and the Thousand Islands Township stopped a man for a Highway Traffic Act offence. As a result of further investigation the driver was arrested for impaired driving.

45 year old James NICHOLL-CARNE of Lansdowne is scheduled to answer to charges of Impaired Driving and Driving with more than 80 mgs of Alcohol in his Blood at the Ontario Court of Justice – Provincial Division, Brockville on March 23, 2018.
