LANARK COUNTY – In the last seven days, officers from the Lanark Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 328 calls for service.

The calls included:

5 x Domestic Incidents               One person charged with “Mischief”

3 x Break and Enters

3 x Frauds.

3 x Family Disputes

3 x Missing Persons (Located).

31 x Motor Vehicle Collisions.     Including 7 car/deer collisions.

72 x Provincial Offence Notices (“Tickets”) Including 58 Speeding Charges.

OPP:   SAFE COMMUNITIES A SECURE ONTARIO.

It’s a Fraud.   Government Agencies do not contact you by telephone or e mail demanding immediate payment by any kind of “transfer” and “Microsoft” will not call you for your Password in order to “correct a problem with your computer”.

CRIME STOPPERS. 

If you have information on any criminal activity that leads to someone being charged, you qualify for an award of up to $2,000.00.
