LANARK COUNTY – Between Monday 15th May 2017 and Monday 23rd May 2017officers from the Lanark Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 497calls for service.

At 09:00pm on Saturday 20th May officers investigating an allegation of a possible impaired driver, stopped a Chevrolet pick-up truck in the parking lot of the McDonald’s Restaurant on Dufferin Street in the Town of Perth.
The driver of the truck, Patricia PRESCOTT (44 years) of Tay Valley Township is charged:
One (1) Count Resist Peace Officer.
One (1) Count Drive Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood.
One (1) Count Drive Motor Vehicle While Ability Impaired.
All charges are contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
PRESCOTT was released to appear at the Provincial Court in The Town of Perth.
At about 05:11pm on Friday 19th May officers investigating an allegation of a possible impaired driver on Hwy 7 stopped an eastbound Dodge pick-up truck pulling a trailer on Dufferin Street in the Town of Perth.
The driver, Sean CONNOR (42 years) of The City of Ottawa is charged:
One (1) Count Drive Motor Vehicle with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood
One (1) Count Drive Motor Vehicle wile Ability Impaired.
All charges are contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
CONNOR was released to appear at the Provincial Court in the Town of Perth.

Officers continue to investigate two allegations of Criminal Harassment reported on Monday 22nd May, one each in the Town of Carleton Place and the Town of Perth.
At about 09:17pm on Tuesday 16th May officers responded to a call in the Town of Perth.
A sixty (60) year old man from the Town of Perth is charged:
One (1) Count.
Contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
He was released to appear at the Provincial Court in the Town of Perth.
At 06:22pm on Sunday 21st May officers responded to a call in the Town of Carleton Place
A forty two (42) year old man from the Town of Carleton Place is charged:
One (1) Count

Both charges are contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
He was released to appear at the Provincial Court in the Town of Perth.
