Kingston – On August 16, 2017 at approximately 3:45 a.m. a stabbing occurred in a residence in the 600 block of Division Street. The accused had attended the apartment and asked the victim to cook him a meal.
While the victim was occupied with cooking the accused pulled out a knife from his waist area and suddenly began stabbing the victim. A witness grabbed a frying pan to intervene. The accused fled on foot and his current whereabouts are unknown.
The victim suffered approximately 9 stab wound in the chest and back area. He was taken by ambulance to hospital where he is in critical, but stable condition.
38 year-old Jason Douglas Serson of Kingston is wanted for attempted murder. Serson is a Caucasian male, 5’10”, 165lbs, with dark hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white
tee-shirt. Please see the attached photo of the accused.
Anyone who observes this male is asked to call 911. Do not approach as he may still be carrying a knife and is considered dangerous. Anyone who may have any information about this incident
