Gananoque – In the early morning hours of July 24, 2017 the Gananoque Police Service received information of a possible impaired driver operating a vehicle within the Town of Gananoque.
Officers located the vehicle that was being operated by a 40 year old male from Oakville, Ontario. The male provided a roadside breath test resulting in his arrest for operate motor vehicle over 80 mgs.
The male was transported to police headquarters where he provided 2 samples of his breath both registering 140 milligrams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood.
The male was charged with: operate motor vehicle over 80 mgs and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date. The accused’s vehicle was impounded for 7 days and his driver’s license was suspended immediately for 90 days.
