GANANOQUE – On Monday, January 20, 2017, a 25 year old female was arrested by officers from the Gananoque Police Service on outstanding warrants. The female was wanted for property crimes and failing to appear in court. The female was held in custody pending a show cause hearing.

On Friday January 27, 2017, officers from the Kingston Police Force arrested a 45 year old male who was wanted by the Gananoque Police Service on outstanding warrants. The male was turned over to the custody of officers from the Gananoque Police. The male was wanted for property crimes and failing to appear in court. The male was held in custody pending a show cause hearing.

On Friday, January 27, 2017 the Gananoque Police arrested a young person for assault, mischief under $5000 and two counts of failing to comply with probation. The young person was held in custody pending a show cause hearing.

In the early morning hours of Sunday, January 29, 2017 the Gananoque Police received a complaint of a single motor vehicle collision on King Street West in the town of Gananoque. Upon arrival, officers observed substantial damage to the motor vehicle. The driver of the motor vehicle, a 24 year old male from Gananoque, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mgs of alcohol.
The male was released to appear in court at a later date. The male’s drivers license was automatically suspended for 90 days and his motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
