Gananoque – Gananoque Police Services and senior students from Gananoque Secondary School are partnering up to save lives. To assist Canadian Blood Services to help ensure that lifesaving blood products are available to hospital patients in need. As part of their dedication to their community the Gananoque Police will be holding a donor recruitment event in the High School on Wednesday April 12th to sign up students at Gananoque Secondary School to donate blood side by side on April 28. The Gananoque Police Service is committed to recruit new donors and fill appointments to help collect 58 donations at the clinic.
“We are pleased and proud to have the opportunity to help Give Life in this way,” says Cst. Lynsay MOLLESON Community Relations Officer at Gananoque Police Services.
“We are very excited about making a real difference in the lives of Canadian hospital patients. This year, 100,000 new blood donors are needed across Canada to meet patient needs – including 105 needed right here in our community. We invite Gananoque and area residents to join us and make an appointment to donate blood.”
You can take part by making an appointment to give life at the Gananoque Blood donor Clinic, at Carveth Care Centre on Friday April 28, 2017 between 3-7pm. To discover all the ways you can help and to book your appointment, visit blood.ca.
