LEEDS – While Leeds OPP was protecting a crime scene, a driver of an approaching vehicle was arrested for an outstanding warrant and for being a suspended driver.
On December 2, 2017 at about 5:00 P.M. members of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a vehicle on Junetown Road in Front of Yonge Township. As a result of an investigation, 23 year old Alexander UBDEGROVE from Tillsonburg was arrested and charged with two counts of Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition, two counts of Driving while Disqualified, and Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, all contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He was also charged with three counts of Driving while under Suspension, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
He is scheduled to appear for bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Division in Brockville.
