CITIZENS CALL STOPS IMPAIRED DRIVER

LEEDS –   Officers of the Rideau Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation involving an impaired driver.

On September 28, 2018 at about 8:30 PM O.P.P officers were advised by concerned citizens of a driving concern in Rideau Lakes Township. The suspect driver was located north of Delta on County Road 42. After further investigation OPP arrested the driver for Impaired Driving and for Having More Than 80 Mgs of Alcohol in his Blood While Operating a Motor Vehicle, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

36 year old Alfred LAMBERT of Rideau Lakes Township has an upcoming court appearance scheduled for October 19, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Division in Brockville.

The investigation continues.
