Brockville Woman Faces Obstruct Charges after Testimony

LEEDS –   Members of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation after court testimony in Brockville court.

On October 23, 2017 members of the Leeds County Ontario Provincial Police Crime Unit entered into an investigation after an accused person made an attempt to influence a witness.

27 year old Katherine COLLINS of Brockville was arrested and charged with Obstructing Justice, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Division in Brockville on November 24, 2017 to answer to her charge.

O.P.P. relies on testimony by victims and witnesses during court proceedings and reminds them they are protected by legislation.
