The Brockville Police are investigating an assault that took place on Central Ave. at 9:15 pm.  The complaint was called in as a fight between two males, but it is now being treated as an assault.  The suspect fled prior to police arrival.  The service attempted to track the suspect using our K9, but the track was unsuccessful.  The male was transported to Brockville General Hospital for his non-life threating injuries and later released.
