Brockville – On March 10, 2018 at approximately 5:00p.m., an officer from the Brockville Police Service performed a traffic stop in the Center of the City. There were three occupants in this vehicle. The driver at the time was a 37 year old, local male, known to be wanted by police for uttering a forged document. That male was arrested and charged with that offence. He was later released with a court date. The incident continued however, as a very strong odour of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. Investigation revealed that one of the passengers, a 40 year old, local male, was in possession of approximately 31 grams of marijuana. He was arrested, charged and released with a future court date.
On March 11, 2018 at approximately 5:30p.m., the Brockville Police Service responded to a call of a dispute between two males in the South of the City. After speaking with both males involved it was determined that charges would be laid. The accused person is a local, 26 year old male, who was arrested and charged with assault. He was later released with a future court date.
