LEEDS – Officers of the Leeds Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped another impaired driver after finding him asleep at the wheel.
On April 12, 2019 at about 11:15 p.m. OPP officers stopped a vehicle on County Road 42 in Athens Township after the driver was found asleep with a revving engine. The driver was arrested for Impaired Driving and for Driving with Over 80 mg of Alcohol in his Blood.
31 year old Tyler ASTLEFORD of the same township is scheduled to appear at the Brockville Court of Justice on May 10, 2019 to answer to his charges
He faces a further charge under the Cannabis Control Act for having Cannabis Readily Available.
