Leeds – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation after a quantity of drugs was located at Mac Johnson Conservation area.
On August 30, 2017 at about 1:00 A.M. members of the Ontario Provincial Police were doing a routine check at Mac Johnson Conservation area in Elizabethtown-Kitley Township when they located a parked vehicle.
As a result of an investigation two individuals were found to be breaching previous release conditions and were found to be in possession a quantity of illegal drugs.
22 year old Alani FODEY of Prescott and 29 year old Jason WITTEVEEN of Edwardsburg Township both face a charge of Failing to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking and three counts each of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Drugs.
Both will make an appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Division in Brockville on the August 30, 2017 pending a bail hearing.
The investigation continues.
