LEEDS – Rideau Lakes OPP officers continue an investigation into a collision where the driver was returned home to his mother.
On January 6, 2018, at about 4 P.M OPP were advised of a vehicle in the ditch on Autumn Drive in Rideau Lakes Township. The investigation revealed that a 12-year-old boy and his friend were out for a joyride when they left the roadway into a snow bank.
The youths were returned home with a diversion plan in place to gain alternative support from local youth services.
