LEEDS – Officers of the Leeds Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation into the erratic operation of a motorcycle driving through Leeds County.
On the 28th of March 2016 at about 2:45 PM officers were advised of a complaint of a motorcyclist driving in a reckless manner westbound on Highway 401 near Brockville.
Reports were that the driver was riding the white line, splitting vehicles, and passing on the paved shoulder all while driving extreme speeds.
The driver was arrested north of Belleville after a brief foot pursuit. The 19 year old Brantford man remains in custody pending a bail hearing facing numerous charges including two counts of dangerous driving stemming from his driving in Leeds.
The investigation is continuing.
