Kingston – The Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority hosts a special Family Fun Day on Sunday, Nov. 12, starting at 2 p.m. at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area.
CRCA staff will be on hand throughout the afternoon to suggest great hiking routes on the various trails, or you can take part in our ‘eyes only’ scavenger hunt. After your time outdoors, head into the West Hall at the CRCA Outdoor Centre for some colouring fun, this year featuring Sourigraphic offering rock painting! The day will come to an end with a campfire and making some yummy S’mores at 3 p.m.
There is no additional cost for the event. Regular entry fees apply.
The Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area is located on Division Street just two kilometres north of Highway 401. Entry fees are: $5.50 per person for adults and children over 12, and $3 per person for children 12 and under, to a maximum fee of $14 per car. Annual passes are available for $80 per year.
