Ottawa – A Wind Warning has been issued for our entire region.
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring.
Wind gusts to 90 km/h developing Wednesday.
A cold front will move across the regions Wednesday. Strong westerly winds will develop in its wake with gusts to 90 km/h expected at times. The strong winds will reach areas near eastern Lake Ontario Wednesday morning and the Ottawa and Cornwall areas in the early afternoon.
Winds will gradually begin to diminish Wednesday night.
These winds may produce power outages in some places.
Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage.
